Big Heart, Mini Excavation, Deep Driftwood Roots
Roots run deep in Driftwood, Texas, and so do ours. Proudly family-owned and rooted in the area since the 1960s, Pocket Earthworks was born out of simple necessity. When we inherited our own 12-acre slice of Texas, we needed a mini excavator to tackle the land without absolutely destroying the beauty of it. Soon, neighbors started asking for a hand with their own projects, and before long, a family passion project blossomed into Pocket Earthworks.
Because we are a local business, we love lifting up our community and proudly support fellow Driftwood and Hill Country small businesses whenever we can.
Go Where Others Can’t: Our setup lets us squeeze into tight nooks, crannies, and tight spaces that standard, bulky machinery can never reach.
Eco-Friendly Footprint: We respect your property. Our mini machines and dump trailers get the heavy lifting done while keeping the impact on your surrounding environment light.

Clearing out the clutter so your yard can finally breathe.

Out with the old slab, patio, or walkway, without shaking your entire house.

Keeping your water flowing smoothly and your driveway secure.
Choosing Pocket Earthworks means supporting a true local business rather than a faceless corporation

Corporate contractors come and go based on market trends, but Pocket Earthworks is invested in the long-term future of the area because this is literally our family's backyard.

We aren't a franchise driven by sales quotas or corporate mandates. We understand rural and small-town property management firsthand because we live it every day.

No corporate red tape, no hidden fees, and no runaround. You get honest, straightforward communication and personalized service from people who care about your property.

When you hire us, your hard-earned dollars stay local, supporting other small-business families, suppliers, and the local economy rather than lining the pockets of a corporate conglomerate.

To a big corporation, you're just another ticket number. To us, you're our neighbor, and we treat your land with the same respect we’d give our own.

Large corporations can afford to leave a dissatisfied customer or cut corners because they operate on scale. For a local family-owned business like Pocket Earthworks, our word and our neighbors' trust are everything. If something isn't right, we are right here in town to make it right.
